CABINS ON BARTER

Located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina, these cabins are available on barter.
Talk with your trade director today about details.
(Note that most holidays and other peak times are blacked out for barter)

Many certificates issued in 2015-16 are still outstanding. If you have purchased a barter certificate, here is how the process works:

  1. Select a cabin based on the website availability calendars and descriptions

  2. Calculate the price by selecting the arrival and departure date on the cabin's detail page (you get to these pages by clicking the         icon under each cabin photo. This will take you to a new page on a separate website, WatershedCabins.com in order to use that price quote feature. The total price quoted will exclude extra people and pet charges, but show the full retail price of the cabin, which is all payable with barter dollars except the "housekeeping/hot tub/amenities fee" which is paid by credit card.

  3. Verify that the dates and cabin you have selected indeed qualify for barter and are not blacked out in the dates listed here. Our staff will do a final determination of barter qualification, too.

  4. Pay the fees with a credit card and the booking will confirm for you.

Black-out Dates & Restrictions:

12/23 through 01/02 for Xmas/NYE holidays

Friday through Sunday nights for Memorial Day weekend

07/01/2015 through 08/15/2015 for July 4 holiday and summer peak season

Friday through Sunday nights for Labor Day weekend

10/01/2015 through 10/31/2015 for Fall Foliage peak season

Wednesday through Saturday nights for Thanksgiving holiday

Note: even during black-out times, if a unit is available at the last minute*, we will consider authorizing a barter stay. Call us to request special exceptions if you see openings for last-minute travel.

* - what is defined as "last minute" travel depends on the holiday. Memorial Day and July 4 holidays generally book within a few days of travel, so last-minute is just a couple of days, whereas Thanksgiving and Christmas only book farther in advance, so last-minute is more like a couple of weeks.
